CtrlLicense Manager (CLM)

The Ctrl License Manager (CLM) handles licensing and trial activation for every CtrlSoftware plugin. It’s shared across all our products, so once you know how to use it for one plugin, you know how to use it for all of them.

Where do I find it?

Open InDesign or InCopy, go to Preferences → Ctrl License Manager, or choose Ctrl → Register… from the main menu. Both paths open the same panel.

Activating a license

Click Enter Serial and type in your purchased license key. The CLM will confirm that your copy of the plugin is licensed.

Starting a trial

Click Get Trial Key from the plugin’s welcome dialog (or Enter Trial Key in the CLM), fill in your name and email, and you’ll receive a 30-day trial key by email. Enter it via Start Trial in the CLM to activate your trial.

Click Buy Now in the CLM to go straight to our shop, or visit the Shop page directly.
